Every day at 12 midnight Wolvden time, the site moves a day forward. Logging in at or after this time prompts you to rollover your account, moving every part of your account one day forward with the rest of the game. If you do not rollover, no changes will happen to your account until you rollover again. As such, failing to rollover for a month will essentially freeze your account for that month.
After each rollover the player will receive a rollover summary which will summarize anything that has happened within the pack at rollover. If nothing happened, you will get a blank summary, stating that there was nothing to report for that day. However, many rollover summaries you receive later on will contain illness information, birth announcements, pup survival and pup injury/death updates, and more!
Pack Care[]
Wolves generally lose 20% hunger and 10% mood on rollover. With the exception being wolves with tapeworm and pregnant wolves, who will lose 30% hunger and sick wolves who lose 20% mood. All wolves also restore 4HP on rollover if they have lost HP and not yet recovered it and do not have any illnesses that effect HP gain. Energy is not regenerated on rollover, but does restore by 10% for pack leaders, and 5% for pack members every 7.5 minutes. Pregnant lead wolves will only restore 8% energy every 7.5 minutes. It will take an hour and 15 minutes for a non-pregnant pack leader to fully regenerate all their energy, and 2.5 hours for any other pack member to do the same.
Hunger and Mood[]
One use of a regular prey item replenishes 10% hunger unless the wolf consuming the prey is under 6 months of age/12 rollovers in which case it will replenish 20%. Mood can be restored through use of toy items such as feathers or bones, 10% for each use. When one chooses to use a prey or toy item, one may choose to limit how many uses a wolf may consume on the item screen.
At 30% hunger remaining, or 30% mood, a wolf will gain an icon to signal that they need to be fed or played with soon. At 10%, a wolf will gain a warning icon that they may leave on the next rollover. A wolf will leave the rollover they hit 0% if they are not cared for or played with.

Low Hunger | Low Mood | Leaving Soon |
If a wolf leaves one’s pack one has up to 3 rollovers to reclaim them, this option can be found at the bottom of the den. It costs 100SC per wolf to bribe them to return to one’s pack.
Sickness[]
Wolves can get randomly sick upon rollover, or a contagious illness may spread if a wolf is not isolated in a den by itself.
Sick wolves lose double the usual mood loss on rollover for a total of 20% mood loss. Depending on their sickness, ill wolves can also lose HP on rollover rather than having HP restored and may not want to eat. Pregnant wolves lose an additional 10% hunger on rollover, making for a total loss of 30% hunger on rollover, and regenerate energy at half the rate of other wolves.
Pups and Survival Chances[]
Puppies have a survival chance that can be affected upon rollover. They may gain or lose their survival chances depending on if they are fed or played with. Pups who do not have 100% survival chance may get an injury or die if they are not protected to fully compensate their natural chances. Below is a table of the possible changes.
Hunger and Mood | Survival Odds |
---|---|
Both 100% | +7% survival chances |
100% Hunger, less than 100% mood | No changes |
Less than 100% hunger, but 100% mood | -8% survival chances |
Less than 100% for both | -15% survival chances |
Aging and Death[]
Wolves will not die when they reach 0HP unless they reach 0HP due to fatal illness. Sickness, hunger, and low mood will not kill a lead wolf, nor cause a breeding male to die or run away. The only way a lead wolf or breeding male can die is through age or being retired. After curing a wolf from an illness with an item, they will receive immunity from illnesses for the rest of that rollover; upon use of a cure-for-all, wolves receive illness immunity for a total of 3 rollovers.
Every rollover, all of your wolves will age up 1/2 months. After a wolf has reached 7 years 6 months of age, they have a chance to die randomly at rollover.
Retirement[]
If your lead wolf is older than 7 years 6 months, you will receive reminders about their retirement and be reminded to have an heir prepared because they will retire soon. These reminders will come each day until your lead reaches 8 years old and dies. When ones lead wolf dies or is retired, one will be greeted with the following information panel on rollover where they may choose to design a new lead or choose a member from their pack:
